This was a good little event, great location that has great potential for bigger things. A lot of effort was put into this to organize and set up, a big pat on the back to Ben, Chris, Pete and Keith, for the organising and pyros, and to all who helped out behind the scenes, and the rest of the guys who set up their various displays. It may have only been a small show but the effort was huge and it showed great weekend with a fare few mops on both days. On a serious note  there was a near fatal incident when Keith was nearly gased when he got stuck in the disabled toilet at night, but luckly his pitiful cries for help where heard and he was rescued before he was overcome by his own fumes. As a result new Health & Safety regulation, when going to the loo you must now take a toilet buddy  ,{ some may like that more than others} lol.

Thanks for the comments Richard. All the feedback has been positive from the members of public, the other re-enactors and the councillors, :D
Gary (the councillor who helps with the event) is already arranging a meeting in October about next years event so watch this space.

I must say a big thank you to everyone who attended from the L.M.P.S. and for all the hard work from ALL who attended to make this a really great show. It just goes to show what we can achieve when we all work together.

Many thanks to all,
Chris.

Thanks for your help Keith, it was a fantastic weekend indeed. Only positive comments have been received about the pyro and it was great.

I'm not sure about taking a portaloo along, just take a screwdriver ;)

Cheers and see you at the meeting,
Ben.
